Hello, My name is Andrea Taylor. I was born and raised in Newport News, Virginia. I graduated from Old Dominion University in 2010 with Degrees in Human Services and Counseling. I met the love of my life, Justin Taylor in 2011 and we later married in 2013. I am the mother of two girls, Chelsea Grace and our angel baby Madison Faith. I am also the Owner and Executive Director of Grace's Place, LLC, a residential group home facility that serves individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.

I decided to become a Doula after experiencing the trauma of infant loss in 2017. Our angel baby, Madison Faith was stillborn 25 weeks into the pregnancy. I've often asked myself the question," How could I possibly use my experience to help other mothers?" I found my purpose and true calling in becoming a Doula that specializes in both Birth AND Bereavement. My faith was tested when doctors could provide no explanation to Madison's demise, but what kept me was that same faith coupled with a support system that never waivered. My life's mission is to become an unwavering support system for all mommies.

I hope to advocate, inspire, and encourage mothers who are seeking knowledge and support during the birthing and postpartum process or offer coping mechanisms to those who may experience the trauma of loss during their pregnancy and birthing journey.

" I (You) can do all this through Him who strengthens me (You)." Phil 4:13 NIV
